Crown Molding

Crown molding is generally referred to as a type of single piece molding that is installed on an angle to an adjoining surface. Moldings have earned a spot among several cheap home decorating ideas that can change the look and feel of a room for about $200 (or less!).

Trim moldings give a rich appearance to rooms as ornamental capping to walls and cabinets and can even be used as decorative support for architectural elements such as decorative ledges and shelves. You will find that crown molding can even be put together using several styles at one time to create an extremely dramatic effect. The options are further extended when you consider the many ways that crown molding can be used alone or together and even includes smaller applications on shelving or fireplaces.
